Arrasa Oppenheimer con 13 nominaciones al Oscar

Este martes se dio a conocer la lista de nominados a la 96ª edición de los premios Oscar y, como se anticipaba, "Oppenheimer" de Christopher Nolan, arrasó con 13 nominaciones, tanto en el apartado técnico como en el narrativo.

Seguido de la película sobre el ´creador de la bomba atómica´, Robert Oppenheimer, se encuentra "Poor Things" del cineasta griego, Yorgos Lanthimos, la cual consiguió 11 nominaciones al galardón.

Por otro lado, la épica de Martin Scorsese acerca del principio del fin de los nativos Osage en Estados Unidos, "Killers of the Flower Moon" consiguió 10 nominaciones al premio, sin embargo, Leonardo DiCaprio no fue contemplado para la categoría de Mejor Actor.

La cinta más taquillera del 2023, "Barbie", dirigida por Greta Gerwig y protagonizada por Margot Robbie, contenderá por ocho nominaciones, no obstante, ni Gerwig ni Robbie fueron consideradas por Mejor Director y Mejor Actriz, respectivamente, lo que ha generado diversas reacciones en redes sociales.

¿Cómo le fue a los mexicanos en los Oscar?

Pese a que el director de fotografía, Rodrigo Prieto, fue nominado nuevamente por su trabajo en "Killers of the Flower Moon", la película mexicana "Tótem", de la cineasta Lila Avilés, quedó fuera de la competencia a Mejor Película Internacional.

En la categoría más importante de la ceremonia participarán "Oppenheimer", "Barbie", "Killers of the Flower Moon", "Poor Things", "American Fiction", "Anatomy of a Fall", "Maestro", "The Holdovers", "Past Lives" y "The Zone of Interest".

La ceremonia de premiación de los Oscar se realizará el próximo 10 de marzo en el Teatro Dolby de Los Ángeles, California. Será transmitida por tv abierta y por los canales de TNT y HBO a las 19:00 horas.
